My story
Bichon Frise Female, 14 years old, 10 pounds Graciela (aka Gracie) is the sweetest little thing! She will patiently allow you to pick her up and give her attention. She is good with most dogs but can be responsive while on leash. Gracie is clearly a dog who pines to be devoted to her human - she wants to know where you are and to be with you all around the house. She's the BEST snuggle buddy on the couch! Gracie is anxious when left alone and thus does display vocal separation anxiety. She cannot be in a home with shared walls like an apartment or condo without irritating some neighbors. This little pup is a perfect match for someone who is mostly at home and would like a devoted companion! She loves having free access to a yard, and knows how to use a doggy door. If you are looking for an excuse to get fresh air and exercise, Gracie is what you need! She happily goes on 2 mile daily walks at a brisk pace. Because Gracie was hit by a car over 3 years ago, she has just the slightest wiggle in her gait, but this does not slow her down. She does love to stop to smell the roses, too, and thinks she's a mighty hunter when she spots squirrels. Gracie's a bit too fond of chasing cats, so a kitty-free home is probably best for her. Graciela came to us because her senior guardian's health declined and she can no longer care for a dog.
